1960s Sheer Lace Overlay
This 1960s sheer overlay dress with daisy lace and Tiffany-blue silk trim likely belonged to a set but no longer has its undersheath or slip. She’d be gorgeous as a bridal overlay, swimsuit coverup or paired with your own underthings. This delicate beauty fastens at the back with two hook-eyes and a snap. There is no stretch to the material. I am undeniably too broad shouldered to wear her or else she’d never leave my closet 🥹.
Measurements:
Bust: up to 34”
Back Shoulder to shoulder: 14”
Length- Shoulder to Hem: 54”
Arm hole openings: approx 17”
Best fits an XS, S
Pictured on a size 6/8 mannequin.
Condition: very good vintage condition. Some general wear upon the trim consistent with age but nothing major enough to picture. Please note, I have a small repair or replacing one of the hook-eyes that helps fasten the back (pictured.)
